Please give us a short summary of your website?
I am furniture designer craftsman form Calgary. I names my website after my middle names as a kind of ode to the grandfather, but also because it sounds nicer and more high end than my name. Contained on the website is all of my work as well additional information about me
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I've had my website for many years now and figured that it was important to be able to share and gain exposure on the Net.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
It was launched in 2000. It was originally called josephcarlyledesigns.com, but that is a mouthful. So we shortened it; the content was the same, but less of it.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I guess I accidentally answered that one already, but it's my middle names.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
People who do what I do have a particular style and develop their techniques over many years so it will be constantly evolving. My website is quite a bit simpler than many I guess.
