We sell quality furniture for living room, dining, bedroom. Also a wide variety of designer accessories and lamps.
We opened our showroom in the fashionable enclave known as "between the commons" (Battersea Rise near Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common) in 2004. We were bored by the stale and stagnant trends of the big stores, who offered clients nothing but mass-produced furniture made of melamine board. Loungin's aim was to offer people something unique and refreshing.
We will be constantly introducing new products, seeking out the latest "must have" accessories together with the most highly regarded brands in the world - such as La Fibule, John Sankey or GP & J Baker. This means you can now buy online, safe in the knowledge that the products that you buy from Loungin' are as unique and as individual as you.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Our idea was to enable people to see and buy our furniture using the convenience of functionality of online shopping.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The website was launched about 2 years ago, and now we've rebuilt it into the online shop.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Loungin' - the name relates to the idea of lounging and relaxing in comfortable furniture.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
High-end unique furniture, and excellent customer service.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
The company is growing, and we'd like our brand to be widely recognized and associated with quality and relaxed life-style.
