If you need a household appliance, no matter what the grade or reason, you can save easily half the price by shopping the scratch and dent outlet, and still get a full warranty.

You may have to drive all the way to the nearest "big city", but your regional Sears or other major appliance outlet has an outlet for scratch and dent appliances. They may be demo returns, or have insignificant damage you won't even notice once you put it in the cabinet.
