Furniture Blue Interview

By Interviewer at 09/26/07 12:04
Name of your website?

Furniture Blue

Your name?

Brad Feuer

Your Location (city, etc)

Boca Raton

Please give us a short summary of your website?

FurnitureBlue.com is committed to providing the most convenient shopping experience possible over the internet and/or telephone. We are meticulous in the furnishings we offer, only partnering with manufacturers known for producing the highest quality products. Each manufacturer's product line is evaluated on its comfort, quality, workmanship, warranty, and consumer satisfaction.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Our staff has extensive experience in the retail furniture industry, customer relations, online marketing, and e-commerce. We saw a need and decided to fill it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched in 2004, www.furntitureblue.com. We have added products since the initial site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We thought it was easy to remember.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our exponential growth in sales and reputation is due to our belief that a sale is not just a one time transaction, but the foundation for a life-long relationship with each one of our customers. We are committed to enhancing the living and working environments of each and every one of our customers by allowing them to customize their furniture and receive it direct to their door.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We plan to keep the site forever.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We measure success by satisfied customers. We are extremely successful and love what we do.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

TV advertising.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing has been unexpected. Server crashes are a headache but a good backup system has alleviated this.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Keeping up with the changes in e-commerce.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO and PPC.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is a lot more fun than expected. It doesn't seem like work.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We've been up since 2004. We plan on going forever.

What is your website address?

Furniture Blue
