When did you start your website and why?
July 2007. We took the idea of a floor wine rack and decided it would be really cool to personalize the background with a photo or image, and make it available on the Internet through our website. The feedback has been great, we already have customers planning wedding shower parties for couples where everyone brings wine to fill their customized wine boards with their photo on it. We are just getting initial exposure, it's also in the home show (HomeArama) in Louisville, KY.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
Obtaining great samples to create photos for the site, we final have some and will have more in about a month.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
Our wonder webmaster!! He is awesome and quick to make updates for us.
What was your biggest mistake?
Getting samples made quick and creating a beta site.

We are starting to get online and offline, the website opens up our market to the US, that's the biggest benefit.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
As Americans work longer hours and gas prices rising, Internet sales will continue to climb, it's much easier to buy online.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?
SEO is a low cost promotional tool for online marketing, I've seen a lot of success from this in other businesses.
What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?
With a new website, they are slow to index and rank, that's a pain, they try to drive new businesses to use sponsored ads which are very expensive.

Directories, Blogs and Forums.

Search engines, as they are slow to index new sites.

Search engines should index and rank sites as soon as they are crawled.
